Who will win the playoffs this year? In the begginig i was hoping for the Boston Celtics to win the playoffs. Now that they are out I am going for the Dallas Mavericks. NBA fans what is your choice for the winners of the NBA Playoffs or your favorite overall basketball team?

Very useful because it gives us an idea of what the challenge is going to be.

I think that the translator is the more useful not just for me and for the people in other countries.

I think that the most interesting thing is the globe where people around the world have seen your blog and it hows you where they were from.

I think like for guys a sports challenge, like to write about your favorite team.

Are more tutorial type challenges needed? eg how to make a link in your post?

Yes, because not just me but a lot of people don’t really understand what you people mean so you should show us step by step.

Yes, because it shows us what we are suppose to do.

Were the challenges where you had to embed ie polls, cartoons, wallwisher etc interesting or could you not embed due to being a free Edublogs blog or a blogging platform that didn’t allow embedding?

Well not for me, I have commented people around the world but none of them wold reply back.

(This a response of a book I read called “Miracles Boys”)

Miracle’s Boys

Readers, do you have any family problems? Well in this response, the book Miracle’s Boys by Jacqueline Woodson, the boy in this book has family problems and his family has problems too. There are three kids and they lost their parents, the oldest brother which is Tyree is taking care of all the other brothers, Newcharlie, and Lafayette is the youngest. Newcharlie has friend named Aaron, they lost their parents, and Cecile their Aunt is still alive. They are in Brooklyn, New York. The problem of this story is the kids are lost because their parents aren’t there to guide them. The events that had happened is that Newcharlie robs a Candy Store with a gun and goes to Rahway. Momma died after having a low insulin. Newcharlie comes back from Rahway and becomes friends with a bad boy Aaron. Tyree tells Lafayette, about their father. Tyree gets a call from the police because Newcharlie is in jail. The most exciting part of the story is when Tyree and Lafayette went into the police station. This big problem was resolved by the brothers opening up to each other and started to talk to each other. I think that the theme of this book is life is hard and unfair but you got to get through it.
The setting of this book can relate to my theme. It relates to my theme because the setting in being in Momma’s funeral. For all the kids it was tough, it was the last time seeing their own mother. When Newcharlie is in jail is a very good setting. He is beaten up, and he is sitting and waiting for his brothers, I would think that Newcharlie regrets what he did that day, he wouldn’t want to be in that position. I think that Lafayette was scared at the scene when he saw Aaron at the park. Lafayette was scared when Aaron wanted to get Lafayette, when Aaron charged to get Lafayette, one of the boys that was with Aaron, stopped Aaron from getting Lafayette. That is how the setting relates to my theme.
The characters in this book can also relate to my theme. The characters relate to my theme because of how they are, like Lafayette he is being called names, not meeting his father because of his death, and watching his mother die, when Lafayette was at a young age. That has to be tough, and by the way Lafayette has gone through other things too. Newcharlie, I could tell by the description of the book that Newcharlie took it really hard when he went to his mothers funeral, he was crying, kicking, and doing some more things trying to get to his mother. I think that Newcharlie had the toughest life, he also had to deal with gangs and gotten beaten up by the gangs. He didn’t just have a hard, tough, and hurtful life inside him, he also had a hard and hurtful life outside him by the beatings. Tyree had a life of giving up his dreams to take care and make his family survive. That is how the characters in this book relate to my theme.
The plot of this story relates to my theme. It relates to my theme because Lafayette is being called names, not cared by Newcharlie, and more, one of the scenes that happened in that part is when Newcharlie, Lafayette, and Aaron were in Newcarlie and Lafayette‘s room, and Newcharlie was calling Lafayette names, and ignoring him, and more. I can tell that Lafayette is getting tired and doesn’t like none of things that Newcharlie does to him, Newcharlie mostly only does the bad things when Aaron is around, but at the end of the book Newcharlie doesn’t do it again. Newcharlie should of thought before he decided what to do. The scene when Newcharlie had gotten beaten by gangsters, when he was getting beaten, he probably was wishing that he didn’t go, and for the description of the beaten, his lip, it must of really hurt. Tyree, I can tell that he has suffered with his mother when she was alive thinking and talking about the money. Tyree also giving up his dream, to save his family, it must have been tuff in the scene of their mother’s funeral because Tyree probably thought my dream is over, and I have to make my family survive. That is how the plot of this book relates to my theme.
In conclusion, in my opinion it was one of the best books I have read this year. The characters and the events in this book all fit together in a good and interesting way. I also like how all the different qualities the characters have, if the characters didn’t have their own qualities in the book, the book wouldn’t be the same, it wont probably be as good. But I would have to say that the best thing that had happened in the book was when Newcharlie got beaten gangsters. It is just exciting talking about that, and how he worded it. It made it sound so sad, but at the same time Newcharlie is old enough to know right from wrong, he chose the wrong way. Newcharlie is like a lemming, lemmings do whatever the other lemming does, it is just like Newcharlie whatever Aaron did, like Aaron being with gangsters, Newcharlie followed, just like a lemming they see another one do it, they do it too without thinking, and that is exactly what Newcharlie did. If you have family problems you should read this book, to see what they did in this book, I agree with the theme life is hard and unfair but someway or the another we have to get through it.

I have not really took in part of Global Activity. But the closest I have probably came to is in Science class. We are learning about Water Conservation. That is trying to save water.

The sites that Ihave joined are neopets, clubpenguin, tween tribune, poptropica, facebook ( for one minute bored and never went on again), Yahoo, and ESPN that is all I can think of. I put my name as Jr. because they call me that at home, I give them my last name, my birthday,  my email, city, and state. I do not put than the asterisk questions.

I found some places in Lawndale, a dentist, and, two docters. One of the doctors have Arnold as a last name and Jr. as a name for having the same name as his father, it is funny because I also want to be a doctor. I left behind my pacifier, I left behind baseball, but I aam coming back next, I left pampers,  pull-ups, and baby food.
